Date:
Friday, September 15th
Time:
3:30 pm - 5:30 pm
Website:

Event Description

Dr. Clay Robinson, Associate Professor, Department of Agriculture, will present a talk entitled, “The Science of Soil: All Life Depends Upon It” at 4:30 p.m. at the University Club in the Founders Suite in the Bone Student Center. Soil is the foundation for all terrestrial ecosystems, and because it is always underfoot, it is almost always overlooked, and too often underappreciated. This talk will explore the nature of soil as a resource to feed, clothe, and house almost 9.5 billion people in 2050.

All faculty, staff, annuitants and guests are welcome to join us at the University Club from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. this Friday in the Founders Suite in the Bone Student Center. You need not be a University Club member to attend. Additional information about U-Club events and activities can be found at our website, http://uclub.illinoisstate.edu/. Continued program support is provided by the Office of the ISU Provost and President. In addition, snacks and liquid refreshments are available at each meeting.

If you will need special accommodations, please contact the event organizer.
