Event Description

Dr. Noelle Selkow, Interim Director of Graduate Studies, will present a talk entitled, “Elevation of the Graduate School: New Initiatives for 2019-2020” at 4:30 p.m. at the University Club in the Founders Suite in the Bone Student Center.

The upcoming academic year is an exciting time to be an ISU graduate student. The Graduate School is rolling out new initiatives to provide students opportunities to participate in workshops, such as financial literacy, civic engagement, and professional development; showcase research in GradBird Scholar, and socialize with Graduate School sponsored RSOs. The Graduate School is working hard to elevate its footprint on campus that will improve recruitment and retention efforts for graduate students.

All faculty, staff, annuitants and other members of the University community are welcome to join us at the University Club from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the Founders Suite in the Bone Student Center. You need not be a University Club member to attend. Additional information about U-Club events and activities can be found at our website. Continued program support is provided by the Office of the ISU Provost and President. In addition, snacks and liquid refreshments are available at each meeting.
