Event Description

Dr. Thomas Burr, Associate Professor of Sociology, will talk about the long history of bicycles in U.S. and world culture at 4:30 p.m. at the University Club in the Founders Suite in the Bone Student Center. Dr. Burr has written about the economics and attitudes toward bicycles for professional  journals and brings a depth of perspective about the importance of this common conveyance.

All faculty, staff, annuitants and other members of the University community are welcome to join us at the University Club from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. in the Founders Suite in the Bone Student Center. You need not be a University Club member to attend. Additional information about U-Club events and activities can be found at our website. Continued program support is provided by the Office of the ISU Provost and President. In addition, snacks and liquid refreshments are available at each meeting.
