Event Description

Dr. Dagmar Budikova, Professor and Chair, Department of Geology, Geography and the Environment, will present a talk at 4:30 p.m. at the University Club in the Founders Suite in the Bone Student Center. Dr. Budikova recently published a paper that has garnered national attention relating Arctic Ocean sea ice to heat wave frequency in the United States.  She will discuss these data and the increasing concern about global climate change.

All faculty, staff, annuitants and other members of the University community are welcome to join us at the University Club from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the Founders Suite in the Bone Student Center. You need not be a University Club member to attend. Additional information about U-Club events and activities can be found at our website (uclub.illinoisstate.edu). Continued program support is provided by the Offices of the ISU Provost and President. In addition, snacks and liquid refreshments are available at each meeting.
