Event Description

Jessica Chambers, Board President for the ParkLands Foundation and the ISU Horticulture Center Director, will give a presentation entitled, “ParkLands Foundation: Protecting life along the Mackinaw River watershed in McLean and Woodford counties”, at 4:30 p.m. at the University Club in the Faculty/Staff Commons in the Bone Student Center.  The mission of the ParkLands Foundation is to preserve, protect and ecologically restore historic natural lands in the middle and upper Mackinaw Valley watershed. These lands are dedicated primarily for preserving the biological diversity of native plants and wildlife, and secondarily for passive public recreation, environmental educational and scientific research.  You need not be a University Club member to attend.

Everyone from the Illinois State University community is welcome including all staff, faculty, annuitants, graduate students and other members of the University.  Please join us at the University Club from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the Faculty/Staff Commons in the Bone Student Center.  Talks commence at 4:30 p.m.  Snacks and liquid refreshments are available at each meeting.  Please add this to your schedule.  We look forward to seeing you.

Additional information about U-Club events and activities can be found at our website (uclub.illinoisstate.edu). Continued program support is provided by the Offices of the ISU Provost and President.
