The Illinois Art Station – Learning through Visual Arts

Event Description

Megan Kathol Bersett, Interim Director of Operations, Illinois Art Station will present a talk describing the role of the Illinois Art Station in enhancing learning through the visual arts at 4:30 p.m. at the University Club in the Faculty/Staff Commons in the Bone Student Center.  The mission of the Illinois Art Station is to provide all children, youth, and their families with transformative learning through hands-on experiences in the visual arts.   They also provide students and faculty with opportunities to pursue learning, scholarship, and civic engagement through the visual arts.

Everyone from the Illinois State University community is welcome including all staff, faculty, annuitants, graduate students and other members of the University.  You need not be a University Club member to attend.  Please join us at the University Club from 3:30-5:30 p.m. in the Faculty/Staff Commons in the Bone Student Center.  Talks commence at 4:30 p.m.  Snacks and liquid refreshments are available at each meeting.  Please add this to your schedule.  We look forward to seeing you.
