Using Data to Inform a Metacognitive Approach to Instruction
You may have incorporated metacognitive learning activities into your course. But are you also engaging in metacognitive teaching? This workshop will present practices for course instructors to reflect critically on existing forms of data (e.g., student feedback, student artifacts, autobiographical experiences) to inform meaningful changes to course delivery and design. Suggestions for adjustments while teaching a class and after a course is finished will be provided and practiced. A $50 stipend is available for eligible participants. Registration is required.
