Your Voice, Your Choice: An LGBTQ+ Healthcare Power of Attorney Workshop

Who do you trust to make medical decisions for you if are unable to speak for yourself? Your healthcare decisions are in your hands—take action today with this fun and interactive workshop! We will explore misconceptions about advance care planning and provide information specific to LGBTQ+ community members about how you can use advance care planning as a tool to support and honor all of who you are. Participants will receive information about Power of Attorney for Healthcare and have the opportunity to complete their own (free of charge) if they wish to do so.
About your speaker: Charlotte Hoffmann (she/her) serves as senior staff chaplain at Carle BroMenn Medical Center. She has clinical oversight for Spiritual Care in the areas of the Emergency Department, behavioral health, and obstetrics. She also serves as lead for Carle Health’s LGBTQ+ Community Advisory Group.
