Nearpod: Getting Started
Get started using Nearpod, an interactive tool replacing classroom clickers at Illinois State. This one-hour workshop will give you a tour of the tool’s basic features. It allows you to empower students, track attendance, distribute learning resources, and check the pulse of your class with ongoing formative assessments in many learning scenarios. Registration is required.

Dr. Joseph Zompetti, professor of communication at Illinois State University, has been studying political rhetoric—those messages and their impact—for most of his career. Zompetti will lead a discussion titled “Political Polarization” from 7 to 8:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 28 on Zoom.
