Safe Zone Orientation Session

Safe Zone provides students, faculty, and staff the opportunity to create safe spaces on campus that are highly visible and easily identifiable to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) persons. During the two-hour Safe Zone orientation session, participants learn introductory LGBTQ+ vocabulary and concepts, engage in a mock coming-out exercise, practice ally skills, and receive resources.
