Kendall Ladd will propose her master’s thesis at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, in DeGarmo Hall, room Room 435F. The title of the thesis is “Where Words Fail, Music Speaks: Emotion Regulation Strategies Using Music When Experiencing Sadness.”
The Department of Psychology will present a talk titled, “Why should we be empathetic? Why should we be friends?", with Greg Brawell, Ph.D., from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m. Friday, April 26, in 306 DeGarmo Hall. Braswell is an associate professor in the Department of Psychology at Illinois State University.
The Department of Psychology and CBS Colloquium Series will present a talk titled, “The Role of Physical Activity and Fitness in Cognitive and Brain Health,” with Tatsuya T. Shigeta, M.S., from 2 p.m.-3 .m. Friday, April 26th, in 48 DeGarmo Hall. Shigeta is a Ph.D. candidate at Northeastern University.
