Thesis/Dissertation Prep

This workshop will help students learn how to move through the thesis and dissertation process - from establishing the thesis/dissertation committee to successfully defending its research. Students will receive an overview of the steps to complete the research and copyright process. This workshop will be beneficial to anyone at any stage of the thesis or dissertation process. Becoming a First Year Faculty Member

Creating a Research Poster

A research poster needs to be both eye-catching and informative. In this workshop, learn the key design elements of a research poster, see examples of quality posters, and begin creating your poster utilizing PowerPoint. Grant Writing

This workshop will feature staff from ISU’s Research & Sponsored Programs who will give you an overview of the grant writing process. Learn why we apply for extramural supported projects, the administrative process required for submitting proposals, and helpful tips for producing high-quality applications that will make you more competitive in getting awards.
