Turner Hall is home to the College of Applied Science and Technology, the Department of Family and Consumer Sciences, the Department of Technology, and a Child Care Center for students with two to ten year old children.

Turner Hall opened in 1963 and was named after Jonathan Baldwin Turner. He lead the way for programs in agriculture and industrial technology at Illinois State. Turner served as President of the Illinois Teachers Institute. He was also known for his progressive ideas on education.

The Department of Technology is hosting a Commencement Reception for the Fall 2021 Graduating students on Saturday, December 11, 2021 from 10:00 a.m.-11:45 a.m. in Turner Hall Rooms 121, 132, and 160.  The Technology Commencement Reception is for graduates of Computer Systems Technology, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, Graphic Communications, Renewable Energy, Technology and Engineering Education, and the Technology Graduate Program (Project Management, Quality Management & Analytics, Training & Development, and STEM Education and Leadership).
