Intro to Mindfulness Part I
Monday, February 2 , 12:00 pm – 1:00 pm CST
Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the moment, and non-judgmentally. During this class, you will learn and practice various mindfulness and meditation techniques that can help improve sleep; reduce stress and anxiety; improve focus, academic performance, and eating behaviors; and contribute to a greater sense of well-being and happiness. You will also receive a copy of The Mindful Twenty-Something by Holly Rogers. This is a wonderful book to read that will help support your mindfulness practice and help learn how to better manage life’s challenges.
This course will meet once a week and attendance at each of the four sessions is recommended.
