Monday, April 19th
The Office of Sustainability has partnered with student organizations: the Student Environmental Action Coalition, Sustainable STATE, the Horticulture Club, and Plant Based at State to kick off Earth Week with free plant, seed, and reusable utensil giveaways at Schroeder Plaza from 1-3 p.m. on April 19.
Tuesday, April 20th
The Office of Sustainability has partnered with the West Bloomington Revitalization Project to provide FREE bike tune-ups and basic repairs to ISU students, faculty, and staff from 1-3 p.m. April 20 outside the Student Fitness Center (near the bike racks and bike repair station).
Wednesday, April 21st
The Office of Sustainability has collaborated with the Renewable Energy Society, the Solar Car Team, and Fossil Free ISU to celebrate all things RENEWABLE from 1-3 p.m. April 21, on the ISU Quad.
Spend a Virtual Evening with Dr. Ayana Elizabeth Johnson, a marine biologist, policy expert, writer, and founder of Urban Ocean Lab, at 7 p.m. April 21 via Zoom.
Thursday, April 22nd
Join the Office of Sustainability, the Student Sustainability Committee, University Recycling, and the Redbird Sips program at Schroeder Plaza for tons of free eco-giveaways and green prizes from 1-3 p.m. April 22.
Stop by outside the Student Fitness Center on Earth Day for a FREE exchange of gently used athletic clothing from 1-3 p.m. on April 22. (You may bring an item to swap, but it is not required).
Enjoy a free Earth Day Screening of the award-winning sustainability documentary, Seeding Change, on April 22 at 7 p.m. online.
Friday, April 23rd
Fix It Friday is back in action with free mending in honor of Earth Day and Fashion Revolution Week. Bring in your items in need of basic repair and the fix it crew will sew them up for FREE from 1-3 p.m. April 23 at the ISU Bookstore in the Bone Student Center.
