Visiting Artist Lecture: Sanaz Sohrabi

Date:
Wednesday, March 27th
Time:
12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Sanaz Sohrabi’s (Tehran.1988) studio practice intertwines and crosses paths with research and acts of gatherings, rendering them as a coalesce of theoretical inquiry and practice, often inseparable from one another. Working with experimental moving image, installation and objects, Sohrabi looks at visual traces, acts of viewership and their reciprocal dis/reappearances to investigate the impermanence and malleability of archival records and historical narratives.
