AsiaConnect April event: tabletop games and karaoke
Come play board games with us! Want to learn to play mahjong? The popular title-based game in Asia is a game of skills, luck, and strategy. AsiaConnect is hosting a game day on Friday, May 3. We will end the school year with games (board games and mahjong). Light refreshments and Chinese/Japanese tea will be provided.

AsiaConnect January event: study abroad student presentation
The student who received the AsiaConnect scholarship will present their study abroad experience to the audience. She will regale us with stories of her overseas journey.
The event is scheduled for Friday, Jan. 26 from noon to 1 pm at 551 DeGarmo Hall and is open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.

AsiaConnect October Program: International Poetry Reading
To help celebrate the love of languages/literature, we will read ten poems from around the world this year. Readers include ISU international faculty and students from Russia, Taiwan, Iran, the Netherlands, Thailand, etc.

Learn games with AsiaConnect
Come play various fun Asian games to end the school year, including shuttlecocks, mahjong, backgammon, and more on May 5 at noon. AsiaConnect’s last monthly meeting in spring 2023 will showcase a variety of Asian games. If you have a game to share, please bring it along! Light refreshments will be provided. We are meeting at 551 DeGarmo Hall.
